On January 29th, 1861, the Kansas Territory became the 34th state of the United States of America. Since that time, Kansans have celebrated statehood each year by holding dances and balls around the state commemorating this historical event. You are cordially invited to attend The Grand Ball in Wichita, Kansas commemorating the 146th year of Kansas statehood. The focus of the evening will be dancing and merriment.
