1906 "Grace" is fashioned using the same pattern as "La Violette."  The wired black straw body is draped with black silk gauze and decorated with vintage satin striped silk bows, handmade silk roses and a vintage Edwardian compound ostrich plume.  The underbrim is faced with vintage cotton lace.  Grace is suitable for the society matron and cooler weather and can be worn a little farther forward, if desired.  The roses are pinned in place and can be easily changed for a more somber occasion.  One vintage glass button hat pin is included with this elegant hat.  Additional hat pins can be found in the accessories section of the Mercantile, click here..
